How many coins do you have to spend? The cheap option would be to go the Portuguese route.

You won't get much for 60k in the BPL, I'd try and build a cheap Portuguese squad.

Gomez, Dawson, King, Ekotto, Corluka, Crouch, Pavliyachenko, Jenas, Bentley, Peinaar, Gallas...You can get these players for about 1k each.

Bale, Moderic, VDV, Defoe, Lennon are the big ones but shouldn't cost you more than 50k.

You should use 4-4-1-1, once your more experienced then you can start experimenting with other formations.
