You need to play the market and buy low then sell high, the best way is when a big tournament comes along just win it as much as you can and it will all add up.

Packs is a terrible way to make money you will most likely lose coins per pack, and personally I dont think that paying real money for a game is really that important

obviously you're first thought to stay maybe british premier league or spanish league. because that's where all the well known good players are, but to be honest they are so overpriced, that said you do have 400k to spend! personally i like the seria a, over all i think it's one of the more balanced leagues. and prices are cheap. you could easily get a 5 star team for less than 150k. one thing i love about it as well is the fast defenders. players also go cheap in the bundesliga, for example, shweinsteiger, and 85 overall CM with excellent passing and shot can be picked up for about 10k. compare that with someone like nasri or van persie, who have similar stats, they go for about 20k.

whatever league you choose, another good tip is to stick to players and a manager that like the formation you play. this improves chemistry so much, you don't have to worry about players being of same nationality or from the same squad then. means you can team imbrahimovich up with eto

this said, be aware of how much your formation card is worth. if it goes for +10k like the 4-1-2-1-2 card does, then it's better to spend maybe 2-3k more on the player you want if it's in that position because to change him will cost you a lot more.
