Practice, practice, practice, practice

use the tele camera (default camera of all the game modes) I struggle on pro camera with 2v1, some crosses and corners

dive with X + Direction

be always holding L1, just adjust on some crosses with L2 + direction

don't forget to put "assisted" on save assistance on the controllers menu
