(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); lately when playing FIFA the commentary would cut out and then come back again, same with the crowd sounds etc, and if I press start the start menu doesn't show, just the ea thing at the bottom, other games work perfect so it ain't my ps3. Anyone know what this could be and how to fix it?

Unplug the PS3 (the power plug) for a minute then plug it back in. I know you said it wasn't the PS3 but sometimes my FIFA mucks up and doing that fixes it.

It could also be the disc. It might be scratched or something, try cleaning it.

Make a new user on the PS3 and try to play FIFA. A few of my friends have experienced problems with their main account and had to change account. If this is the case you'll have to delete all of the FIFA data on your account (ultimate team will still work because it is server sided)

If they don't work borrow a friends FIFA and try it (if it works it's the your disc and you'll have to buy a new one or wait until FIFA 12)

Everything that Bankies said should help to fix the problem. Deleting data is easy, try it. It is the one that will most likely fix your issue.
