I think PES is better because of the graphics and it's harder. But FIFA has more tricks...

I did not play fifa 12 but people say it's better that PES, what do you think ?

FIFA because of ultimate team and licensed teams/players etc...

fifa! it like comparing a dog 2 a cat!!!

I have both games (yes I know, I'm crazy) but for me FIFA is the better of the two. However I do think PES 2012 is an improvement on recent PES games, though still has some problems that I wish Konami would sort out, especially the goalkeepers.

By the way, Man United are fully licenced in PES.

perhaps this might change your mind about the graphics

The only things PES has going for it are-
a) Advanced AI &
b) Master League game mode.

Aside from those two stand-out features, FIFA really is better (IMO ). Oh, and I can't stand the stick-creature-esque movement in PES. Makes me feel like I'm playing a PS2 game :p

Some parts of the PES animation engine are still the same from PES5, which explains the stick creature movement. The goalkeeper animations are very noticeable from the "old gen", they still do a stupid looking "pat the ball over the crossbar" when tipping a shot over, and the goal kick from the hands animation still looks odd. How many goalkeepers do you see releasing the ball from their hand to the foot on the same side of their body (i.e. right hand to right foot)?

And Konami still haven't got the model collision detection right after all these years, you still get moments when one player's head is right through an opponent's chest and peeping out the other side. However I have had a few weird player model bugs in FIFA 12, legs bent in weird shapes etc.
