(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm looking at getting FIFA 13 but it has been a long time since I owned a FIFA game, so, I'm looking for some tips and advice on how to do well in this game and also on the ultimate team, bear in mind the last FIFA game I owned was probably FIFA 05 or 06 (like I said it was a long time ago)

Also I'm wondering on the prices on the ultimate team, do I use coins or my own money? I have no clue :blank:

game is completely different now.

as for ultimate team, you basically start off with a pack full of bronze players and build your team up from there.
You earn coins from every match played. you get more if you win than if you lose obviously. you also get more depending on the difficulty and depending if its online or offline.
for example, 1 offline match playing semi-pro, you'll probably earn about 500 coins if you win. 1 online match will get you 600 coins if you lose.
bronze packs cost 300 while gold packs cost around 3000 coins.
so no, you dont have to use any real money, however, you CAN. you can buy fifa poins for like 1.99 or something like that. but you could essentially have a great team without even spending any real money at all.

You have to get used to the tactical defending now since it is different than defending before

Best starting off wit the skill games as thats what there used for
id suggest learning some skills to beat players, fake shot is also really useful so learn things like and you will be flying

i'd suggest in all game modes, learn how to defend well first, that way you only need to get 1 lucky goal, and you can still win games.. or at least that's how i win :p

not really, controls are still the same and im pretty sure the main new feature in fifa 05 was a new first touch system as well which i think was exactly the same as the one added in fifa 13.

just try an online game, you will almost definitely lose as it is completely different to playing offline but it is the only way to get better just dont quit, too many people quit as soon as they are losing 3-0
