Ok follow these steps
1- open filezilla Browse to the game folder you want to convert. In one of the following locations:
dev_hdd0/GAMEZ
dev_hdd0/GAMES
dev_usbX/GAMES
dev_usbX/GAMEZ
2- Open the game folder BLUSxxx/ and locate PS3_DISC.SFB
You will open that file using either Aldostools or Ps3Tools collection and change the GAME ID to either the BLES or BLUS version your trying to change too, then save it.
3- Next file location is at:
BLXXXXXXX/PS3_GAME/
locate the PARAM.SFO and load any Param editor and change the GAME ID to the BLESxxxx version of fifa [you'll need to look for exact fifa BLES numbers] then save it.
4- Next file location is at:
BLXXXXXXX/PS3_GAME/LICDIR/
Locate the LIC.DAT file and load it with a hex editor ( I use HxD as its the best free hex editor ).
When the LIC.DAT is loaded..press both [Ctrl+F] keys and type BLUS ..this will take you directly to the line where BLUSxxxx is located
what you need to do is change [BLUSXXXX] with the [BLESXXXX] of fifa version and save over
5- Rename the main Game Folder which is [BLUSxxxx] of the game you just converted, to the new GAME ID which is [BLESxxxx]. Not doing so will result in problems loading the game.
6- after doing so, go into Multiman and game xmb from inside do [REFRESH] and scroll to the fifa game press triangle & hover over
to settings of the game see if the game has changed to [BLESXXXX] if so then everything is right. You just need to go to ps3 main XMB
and delete everything have to do with fifa BLUS version [game data-saves etc..]
then go back to Multiman & triangle FIFA and set it to BD mirror + Internal HDD or any of them
load the game from multiman intpo main XMB and viola you will be asked to install the BLES fifa updates and stuff b4 playing

Not into the modding scene, so can't help on this myself.

Impressive. Is there a way to find out other region ids for a game? Or no? Like if I have BLUS version of a game, but the BLES version has it's own set of trophies aside from the BLUS's. Will it load the BLES's trophy list if I rename everything and run it? Would this work for JP region as well? There's just some games that another region can't be downloaded for, like Falling Skies, so it'd be amazing to be able to get that region's trophies. But is there a way to search for a game's id?
