I am shocking at UT. Like proper terrible. I have a good team here:
You must login or register to view this content. It has 90 chemistry and some good players. If I play Ultimate Team single player I can get about 450 coins, and win about 8-0 easily.
But when I play UT Online I find myself 2-0 down before the 20 minute mark. The other team walk right through me by playing little 1-2's. My defending is also terrible. I can never get a tackle right. I'll either get sent off or miss the tackle completely and allow the other team to score.
My attack is pretty good. Although online it all falls apart. It would be great if I could get some advice on improving. :y:
Some tips on defending:
- Read your opponents tactics when he is attacking look to see where he goes and how he does it, most people use one certain side and hardly move the ball completely around the pitch.
- If they have pacey players and you dont really have pacey players get the player and making him run to the side where he is defending the goal. This could automatically make your player tackle him when he runs. If your player isnt going to make it bring out your goalkeeper by holding triangle or Y.
- Tramp goals also known as sweatty goals where pure ****s pass it in the box to prevent the goalkeeper from saving. Get one of your defenders to mark the other striker in the box and hold triangle or Y. This will stop him from getting the ball to the other player and him from scoring about 85% of the time.
- Try different formations, some formations dont suit me e.g 442, but the 4231 and 4411 work well because it has alot more attack. Use 5 at the back if your struggling.
What complete twats do:
- Hold or Tap X for they're defender to automatically defend.
- Press Triangle to bring out your keeper when they broke the line for about 3 seconds and let go. (People will try to chip or finesse)
Just think about what they are doing and how you can stop from passing the ball around like a **** but try different like formations like I said to help find which one helps you the most.
