What he is doing. (I think) is he will just go to the application/song you want, and click "Gift App" or "Gift Song" then he will send it to your apple id and you will get it and it will download after you confirm you would like it. I have dont this before. Correct me if I am wrong xDuNcZzZ. Just trying to help explain the process.

i tried gifting an app before and it said you had to use a CC, saying you can't use iTunes credit (giftcards) to 'gift' apps
