I think you are mistaken. You cannot link 2 accounts by purchasing elite once.
If you bought the hardened edition of MW3, then that code on the hard plastic code ONLY unlocks founder status, it does not unlock Premium (meaning you need to buy premium before you use that card, and anyone who already has premium will already be founder).
As of right now, that card is almost valueless.

Nope (I have premium elite on my 360, my PS3 account linked to the same email address still screams at me to upgrade, and I beat it down like my wife). lol jk @ the last part.
