Because he's a convicted scammer, doesn't mean he will scam everytime. Maybe he has gotten the wrong end of the stick with someone. Don't assume so quickly.

I know that he probably wont scam, but he has done something bad enough that someone believed him to be scamming in the past, i don't want to take the risk.
