For people like me that prefer apps bought I like being able to update my apps easily without losing data, always be on the newest firmware and know the devloper is getting paid for his work

Wait you're doing this because if you "gift" the app to another person then you can download it in your account?

I'm doing it to make some money but if I gift a App to you, it'll be on your account. It's just like buying a App.

But you can jailbreak any apple device and once a popular/expensive app gets updated, installous updates it like on the next day, think about it, to make a deal with you, the deal must be good, and smart people who know how to look at good deals, would prefer installous which allows you to get apps for free over a "50% off an app." And people who don't jailbreak their ipod/ipad/iphones are the people who don't need % off an app, it's common sense.

I don't think you can. My understanding is people have a iTunes card they have no use for so they buy apps for people and get half there money back
