I did it too, I never got a black screen, nor did anything wrong happen, it was just a useless install which I don't even consider a jailbreak. I remember when factory mode was used in jailbreaks, not the demonstration mode that walmart uses on their playstations.

Anyways, if you did install it, it's not hard to go back, just get the 4.20 reverter v.01. Takes you back to official.
