It entirely matters where he got it; people are a lot less likely to pay for illegally obtained goods if they're aware of their illegality.

Especially, since You must login or register to view this content., selling anything SE'd is against the rules.

So hopefully "got this from gazelle" doesn't mean it was obtained via fraud.

It would be different if it were a company that goes after people (like texas instruments), but gazelle won't do anything and neither will Amazon. Most people buy Amazon gift cards (no matter how they were obtained) for around 80-90% of the value.
