just remember with a hacked PS3, you can mod games, back up and play games, play homebrew, install homebrew and alot more if you link into it. 3.55 is the most majorly known version of hacked firmware to noobs as the only firmware they can use to hack ps3's. Sony updated past that 3 years ago and still no release of a cfw that can update over official firmware higher than 3.55, so do not expect a free way to do it again any time soon.

none of the PS3 prices are going down even new ones in stores are staying at there firm price, and even at that there will still be ppl that want to pirate or hack games and i believe you will not achieve that for a long time on ps4 or any other way on ps3 any cheaper than to have a model that you can do it yourself if you can achieve it first time., I would sell cheaper if ppl still didnt sell bad bluray and working ones so high still, so its not my fault that its not cheaper unless they was banned, and these that i am selling are are refurbished from bad lasers and hacked, have not been used more than to just make sure they are running and have not been taken online since hacked. and that is only your opinion with selling.
