Rooney - In form and is the best english striker around.
Crouch - On fire on international level , he deserves it.
Heskey - Need a big strong man to hold up defenders.
Defoe - Playing well and if played with Heskey can be lethal heskey can get the ball hold it up defoe make a run straighit through. Plus he's fast,
Rooney - Obviously.
Defoe - Natural goal scorer, on great form.
Owen - Experience, and he's still got the talent.
Crouch - Can hold up the ball, great in the air.
Shame bout owen, but hes had a terrible season. Crouch can hold up defenders but he prefers to get through so Heskey could be more vital than agbonlahor.
Rooney - Natural choice... Need i explain?
Crouch - Brings height to the team, great scoring recor for england, i believe its 20 goals in 37 games currently.
Defoe - Good player who can change a game.
Bent - Scoring goals in the prem.
Personally i would start with Rooney and Crouch, and then bring Defoe on in the 60th minute or so to make an impact on the game. Defoe (Fresh Legs) + tired defence = likely goals. And then have Bent as a backup for incase one of the other 3 gets an injury or needs to be rested (during group stages).
Rooney-An obvious choice considering his form.
Crouch-Always seems to do the business for England
Defoe-Substitute for Crouch
C.Cole-Hasn't started a game for England, but has looked good in the time he's played for the team.
