Hit the job centre every week mate, take whatver you can get even if that means working at tesco for a while, jobs are on the rise so keep looking. They are out there if you are willing to lower your wage for a while

do you have a trade? joiner, bricky, sparky, plumber?
houses are starting to get built again, and its getting easier to get on site again.
if not, take any job you can, even if it means working in a supermarket, its money at the end of the day.
