Does anyone know how to compress a video after you render it (Sony Vegas)?

I mean when you render a video (HD) a 2mins videos can have up to 15GB, and youtube maximum per videos is 2GB Happy

So what should i do?Smile i rendered it .avi (windows media) 1080 x 720p

I think your render settings might be wrong in Vegas. When I render a video that's about 2mins long it's only 200-300MB. What are your settings in Vegas?

I think there is a tut in the video gfx section on rendering your video. If not you can find one on youtube.

you could also run it through windows movie maker and compress, but I doubt you want to do that. Happy

yeah i used to do it with windows movie maker...
but ill see the tut, and thanks for the help

It's easy. You can choose a method below to compress the video for YouTube:
1. Convert AVI to a smaller codec like H.265, which is supported by the site.
2. Lower the HD resolution a little bit, or lower the bit rate.
3. Make sure your video doesn't contain any unnecessary parts.
