I would say because the majority of active users on the site are here to have fun and help each other out. It is surprisingly informative on a daily basis. I think the daily information changing is a key. Lots of sites fail because of stagnant information. The old SSDD thing. (Same Shit Different Day)

(Insert forum name) has too many bad members with spamming, flamming, etc. NGU has all around great members and staff.
