Purpose

The FPS Freek was design to meet the needs of average and hardcore gamers. FPS Freek was not only designed with precision in mind, but also comfort. The Freeks have a dent in the tops to resemble the thumbsticks of the Xbox 360. The resemblence makes it feel as not much has changed. The Freeks are meant for precision. They give more linear distance giving you better control and faster reflexes.

Review

PS3

This is the system I use mine for. I think the best things you get out of it for PS3 is the precision and the feel of the Xbox 360's thumsticks. I find while using them my finger tend to slip less than the normal sloped thumsticks available with the dualshock 3. I do think the hardest part to get used to is the running on Mw2. The latches get a little caught in the the D-PAD indention outline of the right D-Pad button.. It is a small bump that you will feel every once in awhile. Overall I think this feels fine as to difference and comfortability. It took me atleast 2-3 games to get used to them.

Xbox 360

I have not really had much experience with these on Xbox 360. I have though noticed that many people put only one on and that is on the right stick. This is due to the fact that it mainly helps with the aiming, and the right stick is used for aiming. I have though had some experience. I feel like I'm using the same thing just more leverage. It does give the same abilities as for the PS3. The bump you recieve while running is not present on the the 360 which is a good thing. The Xbox 360 has really good uses for this product, but I think PS3 gets the most out of it. I think it gets the most by having the indention on it.

Conclusion

I think this a good product that has helped me quite a bit. This product has given me a slight upper hand in CQB battles with me locking on faster. I do think it has a good price only $10. I think if you paid so much for the system you could spare a little more. The sticks never get oily and have great grip to them. I would refer this to everyone, but I would mostly refer this to snipers. I have been practicing at quickscoping and have beatin my fair share of (Former)AmPs and AoMs. They provide great precision and comforbility. If a Xbox 360 player is coming over to PS3 I would suggest this in addition to the Shadow 6 contrller located here:You must login or register to view this content.

The 360's springs have a much higher spring constant than the PS3's, and you get more leverage with the natural PS3 controller due to the stick length as well, so the added leverage definitely benefits the 360 more than the PS3.

As for the whole stick getting caught on the D-Pad thing, there is really no need for an extension of the left stick in the first place.
