Battlefield: Bad Company 2’s older brother, Battlefield 1943, has done well for itself despite its tinier size. The download-only title has sold through 1.5 million units to date, EA’s financial documents today reveal. It’s not quite the 5 million copies that Bad Company 2’s pushed, however the figure does mean it’s the best-selling downloadable title on both Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The MIA PC version is still alive and kicking as well. Going by a month-old announcement — which credits at least two thirds of that 1.5 million to XBLA, by the way — it’s coming “soon”.

game was a disappointment with the problems in the beginning.
plus the fact ps3 and xbox were supposedly racing for kills
yet xbox got it a week earlier of course they won.

Then there was never any dlc for it, It was a waste of my money.

I agree. It gets so boring really fast. It's fun every once in a while to play with friends, but like I said, it gets boring after a bit.

For $15 it is worth picking up if you like the BF series(which I do). It plays exactly like BFBC/2. Unfortunately it only has 4 maps and 3 classes which can get boring. The spawning system is flawed, in that you would easily get spawn-camped. The feel of the game is quite superb compared to other games, you can pick it up whereever and have a good few rounds. Its one of those games to play when no one else is online and you want to pwn some noobs, yet it is excellent to play with some friends.
