The potential doesn't mean shit. The current kills you, not the potential. It's equivalent saying that the more water you have in a river, the deadlier the river is. If the river is blocked by a dam (resistance), the amount you have doesn't mean anything. The amount allowed to flow is what kills, and sorry but 30mA just won't cut it.
