Climbing up the ladder
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so after being on the phone for about an hour with belkin, i realized that my router seems sort of " garbage " .the problem with my router is that it would work for 5 min then loose connectiion and then start working again then 5 minutes l8er did the same thing this is continous and nonstop. so we were on the fone and she walked me through rebooting my router, updating the firmware on my router, and resetting the router. after this she told me that they will contact me within 24 hours with a Belkin Manager. ok so what do you think he is going to tell me the same thing she did who knows i just have to wait. so if you guys have any other recommendations on how to fix my router without buying a new one which i will probably do anyways but dont want to though
i have a belking wireless G plus mimo router
PLEASE TELL ME ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX:mad::(

They're probably just working on your internet line. < Where it connects. Because, mine does that sometimes when they're working on it.

well, try unplugging your MODEM for about 5-10 minutes; this will allow your internet to make a new IP which your router will recognize. try that, i got a new router and i did the same stuff you did with no help at all until i tried that.

if you have dial-up, then your internet is coming off of your land-line, which coincidentally so is your phone. whenever you get a call, the phone line takes over the internet line.

Try the "Reset" button on the back of the router there is always one there and if not then your router is wierd lol. When you Hit the reset button it gives you a new IP witch might help so try that and if it does not work then i dont know what to tell ya.
