Today I am going to be providing you with a short easy to read review on one of my personal favorites: The Tritton AX720 Gaming Headset.

I purchased this headset back in January 2010, and it has been working perfectly for me ever since. This Headset is a Best-Buy exclusive, and costs 129.99$ on the Best-Buy website. It's a simulated 5.1 Surround Sound headset and performs very well on fps, and other games. So please enjoy my review and remember to Comment!

Pros-

This headset is great for the price, and runs Dolby 5.1 Simulated Surround Sound. What that means, is that you can hear people from any direction of the game. You can hear people behind you, and it really helps you know when someone is sneaking up on you. The Headset itself is very slick. It's all White with some black on it and 2 large red/orange logo's on it. It's very sturdy and doesn't feel cheap.
It features a very helpful input box in which you will plug in your Optical cable and Ps3 Usb for Mic (If You have Ps3). It has multiple settings including: Stereo, 5.1, Music, Gaming.
I personally prefer the 5.1 the best. On the cable running to the mic it has an inline control, in which you can adjust Game sound AND Voice Sound. It also Features an X-box controller plug so you can get mic out of it. The overall Performance is a 7.5/10, and I think this is a terrific deal for the price.

Cons- After trying this device for a few months, I have noticed a few problems. For example, sometimes the headset goes crazy and makes all these weird buzzing noises, but not that often. After playing for several hours you begin to notice how heavy the mic is, and you may need to take it off for a little bit. Also, It is simulated surround sound not True Surround sound, so it is not the best.

My Final Thoughts-
This is a great device for 130$, will really help you in FPS games and provides a Rich experience when watching movies and playing games. Even though this device has a few cons, I say for the price this is a must buy.

Note- For an extra 40$ You can get the AX PRO which is probably the best headset on the market.
