So with a lot of coaching vacancies coming around this offseason and a huge amount of talent and cap room floating around. What is going on for the coaches?
Jackson's contract with the Lakers expires at the end of this season, so what's next for him? Will he resign? Will the Lakers want to resign him? Has he already taught Kobe everything he knows to further set him up for a coaching role after retirement?
Or will Jackson seek a different route? Are Kobe and Phil talking about moving to the Nets with LeBron or another big free agent this off season? Who knows.
However Jackson has said he "no desire at all" to return to Chicago and to coach them. But did state "would like to have a vodka" with the new New Jersey owner.
Jackson has been coaching Lakers for 10 years now, will he go on for his 11th season or call it a day and retire as one of, or possibly even the best coach ever.
Personally I would like to see change, and Phil move to the Nets, or even Atlanta, or Wizards. And see a new team rise to the top.
