(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i Have a question, say you had a SD tv, can you record in HD and then output it back to the TV in SD, i had this theory and so far its been proven correct.

like on the SD tv i own it has a VGA input (Basicly the pc screen input) and i know the HD pvr gets its footage through a component cable and then if you wanted to output it back out to a tv you use its component cable, say if i were to get a component to VGA adapter do you think i would be able to see the game while its playing on my SD tv.

in short what im trying to explain is:
HD PVR is hooked up with a component cable from the console
it is then outputed back out with a component to vga adapter.

do you think it will work?
if not can you explain
