I'm installing Pinacle studio onto my PC, i have Windows 7. Whenever i try and install it, it says "To install the software, you must have the administrator's rights. Please log in as the administrator and start the installation again. I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR


PLEASE HELP, FIRST/BEST ANSWER GETS 50k VBUX.

Right click the icon and click "Run as Administrator" OR Go to users on your computer and set yourself for Administrator privileges.

There isn't the task, Run as administrator. How do i do the other thing?

Wait can i ask a question. I need to disable User account control. Whenever i click change settings a black rim appears around the screen and it says do you want the change to appear? then i click yes and nothing happens

Eek I've never heard of that. I cannot give you anymore advice as I do not know what is happening. The only thing I can do to help you is teamview.

Wat Vnitas is saying is correct, but maybe you aren't ogged in as the adminisrtrator. Does anyone else use the computer?

You need to disable UAC(User Account Control). To do this type MSCONFIG in run. Click on tools. Scroll down until it says disable user account protection. Click launch. Restart your computer for this to take affect. And thats it. Hope this helps Smile .
