I don't think one can have a famous artist.
I always seem to go through phases, listening to things such as screamo one minute, then I find myself listening to 50 Cent xD
There just seems to be way to much to single out a single artist and name him to be the best.
My current favorite I would say is Eminem for his old albums such as The Slim Shady LP when he was down to Earth and all

Same I like anything from old skool hip hop, indie, house, electro, trance, reggae, grime, some r&b to drum and bass.
