it will either skip a few seconds of video or the audio and video will be off
i seriously don't know what to do
any help?

download the latest drivers if possible, also what are you using to record.
it might show the lag on the program you record, ie mine does if i record somthing over 5 mins it starts to show lag on sony vegas, but after i export it it's fine.
