Lindsay Lohan has just been ordered to report to jail for 90 days, and to pursue treatment for alcohol and drug abuse following her time in prison. Judge Marsha Revel has ruled that the actress did indeed violate her probation.
She must report to prison on July 20. Lohan began sobbing as Revel issued her ruling.
Before the ruling came down, Lohan spoke to the court and insisted she had "done the best [she] could." But that obviously wasn't enough for Revel, who felt that Lohan has consistently failed to meet the obligations of her probation, which stems from charges of cocaine possession, driving under the influence and reckless driving, to which she pleaded guilty in 2007.
A spokeswoman for Michael Lohan just appeared outside the courthouse in Beverly Hills and urged Lohan to immediately report to rehab, apparently unaware that the judge ordered her to do just that after she serves her prison sentence. A reporter appeared to correct her, and the spokeswoman then noted that Lohan reporting to rehab was "a great victory" for her dad and Lohan's family.
