and to be completely honest is feel like NGU is the best of them all.

my first reason i thing NGU is the best is the 1st page. you are introduced to a bright colourful and welcoming blue backround which is a lot better than the dark colours of HF and CR.

next is the general layout of NGU which i really like. it is soo easily layed out and you know excatly where to post things and where to look if you want to find something out, unlike HF where you can get lost soo easily and every section is all over the place. and CR where the dark unwelcoming colours doesnt make feel like you want to browse through it.

the next thing i think NGU does to contribute to being the best forum out there is the shout box. HF doesnt even have a shoutbox making users write pointless threads to have a convo and mods have a hard job closing all of them. and in cr shoutbox you feel like only the highly rated members have a say and nobody users arent really welcomed. but in NGU if you just right " hi guys" you get a reply back and makes you feel really welcomed into the forum. which is another reason i feel like NGU is the best.

also the Rep bar on NGU is alot better than HF or CR. on ngu the more rep you get the more you feel respected and tells you that people actuallly enjoy what you write and earning rep stars are really great and you feel like you have achieved something good. on HF rep only goes up by 1 point each time and to earn it you have to do something really good. on average on HF 3000 posts = 200 rep. and no such thing as rep stars.

and finally buying premium on NGU is soo easy and also makes you feel more respected. on HF you have to earn the right to buy "l33t" OR "UB3R" before you can actually buy them. if omni denies your request then you cant buy it. and i dont really like that.

soo these are all the reasons i feel like NGU is the best forum sight in the world

But then again, i'm part of forums who have been up for ten years, with ~160 active users ^_^
Knowing every single person on a forum is great.

Dam right, NGU pwns the rest, im also part of many forums and tbh, this is the one i have set to my homepage and the only one im getting premium on and actualy going to contribute money to, nice post by the way, nice to see people appreciating how well thought out NGU forums actualy are.

NGU's not the best design-wise, some other forums have much more money put into them, it's still a pretty kick ass forum though.

This is the most kickass forum i have ever known.

As a gaming forum NGU is the best, period.

I am only on one other forum, i know alot more people on that one and have been on it longer but NGU is just awesome.
