For me, and for most people, it's a combination of both. Of course I want to be with in a relationship with someone I have strong feelings for (love), but at the same time love in itself is highly dependent on looks in itself. Have you ever fallen in love with someone that you didn't think was attractive?

In my personal opinion, love is better than looks. I'm still tired of many people only liking others because of their so called "hottness". Love is something to cherish and never goes away unlike looks.

It has to be a mix. Could you love a 200+ kg (500 pounds+) whale? I couldn't even if she's the coolest person alive. One of my nieces weighs 120 kg (300 pounds) and she's 160 cm big (small rather).
