To be honest I don't like cops. There's very few cops that do their job to do the right thing and help people and not for the soul purpose of getting paid. Look at the Rodney King case, reading about that case comes close to bringing tears to my eyes. They beat the shit out of him after that already had him detained. I also want you to look at the video someone posted in another thread about the police officers beating up the 15 year old girl. Lastly I want you to see the video someone posted about the 13 year old kid skateboarding. The kid was leaving and doing what he was told, just because he made a face to the cop he decided to put him in the cop car. Not police brutality, but definitely a sign of a cop just being an asshole.

Yes, all of them broke the law but cops need to know how to handle these situations. The one with the 13 year old kid was just an example of the cop trying to meet his quota. I don't even think I need to explain the other videos to you.

Total anarchy isn't the answer. When I was younger, I used to think that, and now I'm maturing and now I see things differently. Total anarchy is bad, but cops running around abusing their powers is almost the same thing. There should be more surveillance when it comes to monitoring a cop's behavior, and they should be treated like normal civilians when it comes to prosecution. Cops always seem to somehow get off the hook, and that's not right. We're all responsible for what we do, so why not cops?

The thing is, in England at least, is that they have way too much paper work to do. They arrest someone and have to spend ages writing their report. Who would want to do that 20 times a day? There aren't enough cops out and about walking where I live. I don't even feel safe going down the road, even during the day. I don't mind them. I'm not the type of person that goes out doing things I shouldn't and get caught and hate them for them keeping other people safe. The people that don't like them are chavs and that's because they are the ones that do the illegal stuff. I feel safe when I see cops because I know that they can have like 20 cops in a matter of minutes, if that. They haven't done anything to me for me to hate them.

looks like a lot of sherifs out west are dicks. there would be an uproar if something like that happened to a kid by an officer.

Yes; it funny seeing them telling my friends off while I laugh, but I hate cops that thinks they're cool and they rule the street just because they have a batton, a badge, gun, and a walkie talkie,

To any cop that is doing there jobs right, all respect to you. To the cops who think and act like there above the law go **** your selfs.

I think it's pretty balanced, some cops are legitimate and other cops are just plain pigs. Most of the cops that are pigs are usually people who are from the military, they're just so used to being brutal in combat and being military police, that they treat civilians the same way. Big city police tend to be pretty corrupt too.

I really really really despise idiots who say "**** the police!", when they're deliberately breaking the law by doing cocaine or something of that matter. I used to fileshare extensively, if I were to ever get caught, do you think I'd be blabbering on about the police? It's not even the officer's fault, it's my fault for being a dumbass and filesharing as well as the state/country's laws for being so vague and shitty. Same goes for drugs, so many drug-related charges in America. It's ILLEGAL, you know you're at risk for getting caught if you do it, it's not the officers fault if you get caught. It's your own decision, that man can lose his job if he just lets you off the hook with no consequences. These people who say "**** the police!" are normally the ones who are the first ones to call the police in time of crisis as well.
