they normally get them up to a week early

some times it's just mistakes.. that is about it. Amazon sent me a game 2 days before official release(it was a shipping error I was supposed to get it on the release date but I guess the package was a couple days ahead :?D. That and I know that in the town I used to live in the game-stop got in trouble for selling a couple different games before release the game company's set release date.

best thing to do is get a flashed xbox, you can get games weeks early.

i know xbox sucks ass, but you can't beat free games

Sometimes GameStop releases games a day early if you pre-ordered.

Work at GameStop. Also I saw a vid on youtube about some kid asked for MGS4 @ Walmart (He asked an old lady) & She went in the back & gave it to him lol. Also I bet you could pay and employee @ GameStop to get the game once it arrives early.
