It now looks like the plane hit a flock of birds-which took out both engines. Everyone has survived-just minor injury's reported

Birds took down an airplane thats bad they need to correct that so they cant be stopped by birds.

Yeah, they went from biplanes to planes that go to mach 12+, and yet "well a bird hit it" made it crash into a river?

My dad works for a company called lufthansa , He works on the engines. Enough birds could take down a plane. Must be some real bad luck to have a flock of birds at both engines but a flock of birds into an engine could bring it down. I haven't heard anything about this but im sure it would be on the news or something

Thats what they said on the news: the engines are designed and tested to withstand a frozen turkey that is shot into the motor. My information on the flock of birds (canadian geese) was on the FOX NEWS BROADCAST.

If I was one that plane, the first thing I'd do is buy a powerball ticket.
