I'd say the rapper who did the most of his career is Eminem, hands down. He grew up in 8 Mile, being white, no job, no friends. His parents didn't love him (his dad left him, mom sued him). He turned that around and rapped about it. Now look at him, tons of friends, happiness, money, etc.

Lil' Wayne is a good rapper, because he knows what people want to hear.

Other good ones: Illmatic, Wu Tang Clan, Snoop Dog.

Well emienm i agree but l love his old songs up to relapse but in recovery he lost me . But Krayzie Bone I have to say hes pretty clear and fast but twista is way clearer n just as fast or faster.

Lil wayne sucks, his punchlines predictable, and not thought out. His lryics are something 9 year old could fully understand with one listen. Plus he steals rhymes and has ghost writers on his label. Hip Hop used to be about the individuals musical talent. Now all you need to do is get a name, and sell that.

Eminem for sure, No 1 can make words that dont rhyme an dont go together go together like he does, His lyrics are quick and clever and is very funny too. Dont get me wrong i listen to nearly all the rappers mentioned in this thread and more i like Timbaland at the mo aswell as Eminem Recovery. But dont think any one can beat Eminem in a Battle have you heard his disses like the one about Ja Rule. Any way just my opinion
