my situation is that i am 18 and i live in the uk...i have been having a lot of problems at home with my dad....he has "banned" me from seeing my girlfriend, he threatens to "gub" me and kick her in... he then threatened to get a court injunction on me to keep me from seeing her, have a restraining order so i cannot talk to her or see her until im 21..... i would like to know if i am legally emancipated at 18 and if i can get a restraining order held against him because he keeps threatening us....?

Well Idk the laws in the UK but in the US when you turn 18 your parents have no say in what you do.

when your 16 you can just move out of your house in the UK i think :]

If you're 18 or over and live in the UK. You can do anything Your parents have no say over you
