Basically if your PS3 is near your PC you just need to unplug the cable for you internet from you computer and into your PS3. If however your PS3 is far away from your PC then you best bet is going wireless.

if u really wanna connect ur ps3 with the internet just buy an ethernet cable, they are like 4$ and u dont have to unplug the cable of ur computer because ur using an USb Cable for ur pc

So ur best go is to buy an ethernet cable because wireless connection is bullshit and its only good if u have multiple ps3s and laptops
