Ok look this is what I look at when judging him.

He killed, a few jews /sarcasm, and this was bad.
BUT ALTHOUGH HE DID THAT!
He still was a motivating passionate leader. He had the idea for several great inventions, and ruled a great military force.

Now although I dont like what he did, and why he did it. I do think he deserves more credit for all this great stuff he did.

The Nazi Party killed more than 5 million Jews and more than 11 million people in total. I wouldn't say that's a "few" Jews.

However, I would somewhat agree with you that he was a good lead for Germany, I'm not saying he was the best leader ever, far from it.

Believe it or not, Hitler was actually a VERY good leader. When Germany was in depression, Hitler got voted in and literally changed Germany so fast. He made unemployment decrease at a fast rate. He got people building Motorways, train tracks, mining and so on. He turned Germany upside down. Everyone loved him for how he did it. Everyone including Britain and maybe USA, not quite sure on them. Anyway, he made Germany a better place. He got people building all sorts of stuff that was needed. He got the youngsters in the Hitler Youth, which at the time was just like a boot camp for school children. Not many people knew about his hatred for the Jews at the time. Hardly anybody but the people who were Jewish, or the people harbouring Jews. Of course, when that got out people started not to like him. Then the whole war started and people hated him.
In all honesty, we need someone like Hitler in Britain, just a person who isn't gonna start a massive war or have a hatred for a specific race.

most of the things the nazis did were done way before, such as concentration camps, which were done by a pope in 1204 or 06 i believe

u know nothing, EVERYONE KNEW, EVERYONE KNEW. you moron, in his campaign speeches he blamed the jews for staying out of the war. the truth of the matter is, humans are weak. we are pathetic, and if 2012 world destruction happens, we well deserve it.every1 knew hitler was crazy, they knew his background, they knew what they were getting into. but they sold thier souls for a job, a place to live, and some just for food, because they are weak. Hitler is religion 101, humans can't accept not knowing, so they make up an answer (religion and god). in hitlers case, germany couldnt handle being unfairly punished, so they put thier fates into a madman. look whereit got them lol, my german teacher told me a lot of shops dont even sell the german flag to tourists. they are ashamed lol, good for them.

oh and as for onehungry, liking him is stupid and ignorant, and idc if u say my opinion is not fact, because if you really understood hitler, his actions, and his so called "economy fix", then you would realise he was a failure. his economy fix was only temporary, and he needed the war to have a permanent fix. since he lost the war, he is a failure.besides this you probably mean you respect him, like and respect are different.

I'm not entirely sure, but, I don't think I can really be cool with someone that ended the lives of countless people, whatever the logic may be for the killing. Although, that's why I'm just leery about people in most religions, too; leading yourself into ruin because Hubbard/Allah/etc told you to completely ruin your life for them seems kind of not good. Erm, no they didn't. I studied it in History. I watched loads of shit on him. No one knew. They thought he was God who got them out of the depression. Made Germany a better place. Re-occupying the Rhineland in which they had taken away from them after WW1. No one cared cos they thought he was just making Germany stronger again and after the stuff he did they didn't think he was gonna start a war. Germany didn't like how they were viewed. Having land taken away from them. They didn't know Hitler was going to be a madman. he had a great and powerful voice. He stopped paying the bill Germany had. Britain didn't care because he was making Germany a good place. They got soft and let it slip. People liked him before they knew he hated Jews.

Now this is a debate!
