Information if you do not know what it is.

Proposition 19, also known as the Regulate, Control and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010, is a California ballot proposition which will be on the November 2, 2010 California statewide ballot. It legalizes various marijuana-related activities, allows local governments to regulate these activities, permits local governments to impose and collect marijuana-related fees and taxes, and authorizes various criminal and civil penalties. In March 2010 it qualified to be on the November statewide ballot. It requires a simple majority in order to pass. Yes on 19 is the official advocacy group for the initiative.

Ok as I know this is pretty liked topic, so I'm gonna give my opinion.

I am totally for this as it will bring in lots of money for the government, but only if there are certain rules that go with it.

I think there should be simple rules like this:

1) Should NOT be smoked around people under the age limit. (From all we know their could be retards trying to smoke it around their kids....)

2) Can not be under the influence when going to work, driving, or doing anything else that can cause damage or harm people while doing it. And dont tell me that being high doesn't slow your reaction time to things...

3) Should be smoked only in the home or buildings that have a permit, I think this is fair. Sort of like regular smoking, except you cant in the car.

4) Only be allowed to be bought by people 21 and older. Yea yea yea I know people are gonna hate this but come on, you know it's gonna be like that anyways don't blame me.

But if their are simple rules like this, and they are enforced... I am 100% agreeing with this law.

Not yet, the vote is on November 2nd. It's not exactly legalising it, but you essentially have to get all your stash from a shop that chooses it's opening hours. You can have up to an ounce, and if you grow your own you can only grow like one plant in a 25ft area or something. No idea on the potency of the counter stuff, probably gonna be mids, and the medical card holders get the good shit! Arnie is gonna blaze up soon enough.
