If you want to get a knife for protection, a butterfly knife is pretty stupid. Just get a basic knife, or switch blade. Also don't take it out the house, just leave it in your draw and don't do anything stupid. I'd say just look around markets. There's a market by mine (indoor) that sells some.

Hence the 'near you'. There's probably some in major cities, but like me, i'm a good hour away from any major city and who would travel an hour to get a switchblade? Not somebody from the UK
