I can give you an example, but I just don't understand it though,
1.5 07
= 1.5 x 10 (and a little 7)
= 15,000,000

And you see for D, after the *, is it 10 squared ^4? I don't get it? Is it possible you could write it down on paint or something? And I'll give you rep or vBux for it

The "^" symbol just means it's an exponent. For example 10^11 means You must login or register to view this content.. The "*" means multiplication.

The answers to part B are:

1. 0.000015
2. 972000000
3. 0.00073

Yep. You're just multiplying the decimal by 10 to some power.
