funny part is take them to the ghetto and watch them roll the windows up and lock the doors.. I had friends who were from the ghetto, but I never tried to act the role cause I knew it was kind of disrespectful and they can try but what makes you thug is if you leave the hood and yet you come back.

In UK we call them chavs. Surely you have noticed them.

I grew up "in da ghetto", and when I was younger I found myself to use a lot of gansta abbreviations, like, cona = corner, fo = for, fo = for and so on... I grew up and left the ghetto, got a degree, but I still find myself using these abbreviations...lol Especially with the texting era now upon us... Its a alot easier and less time consuming to use abbreviations, rather than text the whole word.. I guess the ghetto is still in me...lol... My little brother is 16, he and his friends have this thug life mentality too.. I sit back and tell myself that was me when I was younger.. Its a phase that some kids go thru, some stick with it, and some come to reality and figure out that they are not a thug when they get thier ass whooped..lol... My brother has some friends of different races, and its funny to me when I see his friends try to be a thug.. You can tell they are out of thier element...lol... I do not get to caught up in it, I just tell myself, its all find and dandy right now for you, but wait until you see someone get shot, then you will go back to skateboarding...lol

One of these kids came up to me and said Gimmie ya ****in money.

So i punched him XD

He got knocked out and i walked away feeling happy.

Scotland we call them neds. I used to be one :whistle: :cry: Not over ps3 though.

It's all down to the person. I live in the toughest area of my city and I didn't go through that "phase". Some people are can't think for themselves and follow the crowd.
