(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU, today I am posting on a woman I was listening to on the radio on my way home from school about how she was effected by the republic of Ireland literally "crashing".
She said that her husband had lost his job much like thousands of others in the south, and she was a full time mother, thus they had no financial income. The government is reposessing her house on the 6th of december right before christmas, and her and husband including their children has no idea about what the future holds for them. I personally think the governments attitude of the working class people is shockingly disgraceful, that this mother and wife, has to spend her own money going to court just to hear that her priced family home will be taken off her.
The only question that I can clundger up is "where the **** did it all go wrong for Rep.Ireland?"

Please post your general opinion on this womans situation.

This is such a common story here now, it's not right! Every Irish child is born with a starting debt of 45,000 euro + over 20,000 euro more than Greece's. Whats worse is we still haven't hit rock bottom yet, It's still has a long way to go yet. No one person or organisation is solely responsible for it, We all are. We foolishly spent money and turned a blind eye. It was the first time Ireland had experienced such wealth ever, we were bound to **** up. Hopefully we've learned from are mistakes and will be mindful in the future.

The Irish have an outstanding reputation for recovering and prospering in horrendous conditions, We've been through countless recessions and famines and will have countless more, it's the way the world works unfortunately. We will recover but it will be several years yet before we begin to make progress.

This is what pisses me off. If the whole world are in debt with each other, abolish all debt and we can start to rebuild this world as it should be. We're all just making ourselves poor.

It is a world wide problem, Not just here in Ireland. I know families including mine which have the same story. The mother is a full time mother and the father is out of work. Its a hard time to pull through. We're the mighty Irish and we can fight this shit!

Another person who gets it!! Just like when they were first talking about the Stimulus bill over here in America, people kept saying that there was enough money to give each American over 18 a decent amount to pay off all/or most of their debts and still have money to spend..but nope they decided to bail out the companies..
