Hi I have a paypal account that I have used to sell a number of items on ebay/challenge lobbies. I have $2,000 in my account and It is limited and I need to get the money off of it. I have a bank account set up with it but because of it is a limited account I can't send myself a check, send money through paypal, purchase items. Pretty much all I can do is receive money but I can't access it or take it out.
It says provide a document with my date of birth. Problem is that I am 17. You need to be 18 for a PayPal account. I set up date of birth wrong when I made it.
How can I remove this limitation. Could my Mom call PayPal and explain to them what happened?
I just don't want $2,000 sitting in my account doing nothing.

That sucks so bad, I have a Paypal account that's limited with 260$ on it and I am 17 years old too. I have called them but I need to show some kind of proof which I can't...

Paypal got limited due to security. You will need to provide them the proof of the document and they are so freindly. Do not worry if you think u will lost it. What you have to do is tell them the truth and they will take any measure for you. I myself got limit even i setup account in China but my real country is Cambodia but i tell them the truth then they start an urgent measure to confirm me and i got my account back.
