(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Is anyone enjoying Boardwalk Empire (HBO) as much as I am? Every episode feels like a movie, which makes sense given that Martin Scorcese is executive producer.

The characters, the setting, everything is really well done.

Retired Life
I grew up in Margate, same island just south of AC.
Show is really well done.
Great character development with a lot of history thrown in.
Never thought the lead Lucky Thompson could pull it off but he is great along with Jimmy.
Hope it keeps going on, HBO always loses the best series, like Rome and Deadwood.

Do a barrel roll!
It follows the life of Nucky Thompson, starting with Atlantic City right after Prohibition kicked in in the 1920s. It deals with his relationships with the mob, the city, and the town. I'd never heard of Nucky Thompson, but I am hooked.

Steve Buscemi plays Nucky Thompson, and he does a fantastic job. Actually, everyone plays their parts really convincingly. Highly recommended.

I'm thinking about downloading some of the episodes while I am off. I wish I had HBO.

Yeah, I don't have HBO, so I've been downloading them all. The first season just ended, can't wait for season 2!

It is an incredible show.

You guys should really check out "The Sopranos" and "The Wire" if you want shows that are written incredibly as this one.
