About The Game:

Continuing from Killzone 2, players find Emperor Visari, the viscious dictator of the Helghast, dead at the feet of Sev and Rico. However this war is far from won. In the wake of Visari's death, Helghan has devolved into a world of political scheming, rapid infighting, and murder. Now, the two most powerful men on Helghan are fighting for complete and utter dominance while Visari’s vision of Helghan is in jeopardy. With limited supplies and no re-enforcements, the ISA must now fight not to win a war, but to survive a lost one.
In Killzone 3, players once again face the hostile Helghast army, battling overwhelming odds in the fight for human survival. Killzone 3 delivers a single-player campaign as well as full featured multiplayer mode.

My Notes/Questions:

Do you think this will end up like Call of Duty and have a billion people waiting for the midnight release? (If they have one).

Killzone 2 was a big hit, I enjoyed it myself, but the trophies were a pain in the ass to get, do you guys think that it'll be as successful as Kz2? I know that number 2 didn't really carry on that long but there are still some pretty loyal players.

Additional question + main question. Do you think Killzone 3 will top Black Ops? Post your opinions, comments, experience with the game, and such so everyone can know a little bit more about the games past and future.

No single platform game will ever beat Call of Duty.

That is a really good point, didn't even think about it, actually.
Since CoD has been around so much longer and so many people have played it, and it's on PC, XB, and Ps3 it will not be overcame, hah.

i Dont think Kz3 will be the best FPS ever, but best Killzone ever yeah. In my opinion Resistance 3 is going to be next best FPS ever. ( Atleast i Hope )

Is Resistance 3 all platforms ?

And alot of people say Kz3 will be best FPS yet, but we'll have to wait and see.

Games nowadays,
are overhyped.
Like Black Ops i personally enjoy the game,
but yet it lacks creativity.

Killzone's fan base can not compare to the the Call of Duty fan base. Just for that reason KZ3 will not out sell like black ops or mw2... I loved the Beta but the engineer class and tactician class pose a REALLY annoying aspect in multiplayer. Engineer can make over powered bots that follow them around and can shoot their opponents like a mile away. These bots can be upgraded and can eventually move around the map... really dam annoying. The Tactician class is not that annoying but they can throw down an equipment that shows where EVERYONE on the map is -___-... It is the beta so maybe they will fix it up before release. Killzone 2 was just terrible multiplayer community wise, the clan system was very convenient so hopefully they bring that back. :y: I look forward to Killzone 3 but I'm not attending the midnight release.

It does, although I do enjoy their variety of different game modes like Wager Matches, and their different variety of guns/weapons.

You played the beta? Are the graphics any good? And that Engineering does sound pretty crappy, especially the point where you said they can move around.. And yeah it is a beta, they make betas for peoples opinions on the gameplay, so hopefully someone pointed out about tracking machinery.

Graphics are great and the melee animations are awesome.
