(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I heard this today in school from a official PSNI police report PSNI = Police Service Northern Ireland.

There is a scam going on were you recieve a leaflet telling you that there is a parcel for you and you have to ring the company to get details on how to get it.

It is one of those 0900 numbers (normally charge around £3.00 a minute). Once you ring it is sends you to an answering machine in some country in the middle east and it charges you £300, yes 300!

It will say on the leaflet PDS. If you get one of these report it to the royal mail fraud office so it can be stopped. This is mainly UK atm not sure about USA. Will post picture of leaflet once i find a picture of it.

Basically I am telling you all this so no one gets scammed by this and that we all have a happy Christmas!

EDIT: I went searching BBC if they had anything on this and found the same article, but it charged lessin england than NI

Thanks for the heads up mate. This happened to my mate but luckily the call was recorded so they got their money back of Royal Mail themselves even though it wasn't them who started it lol.

Hopefully this doesn't happen in the U.S. because isn't E300 like $400+?
