Post: Do You Belive in Global Warming?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Do you believe in global warming? I don't. The hotter it gets the more it rains. The more it rains the less gas is in the atmosphere. The less gas that's in the atmosphere the cooler it gets. The cooler it gets the less it rains. The less it rains the more gas builds up in the atmosphere.

Now it just repeats.

So what do you think? Global warming real or fake?

Sir

I don't really know enough about this to make an honest judgment.
Hell, scientists who have been studying this for years still don't even know for sure.
To my understanding global warming isn't an immediate threat, so the generation of 13 year olds on this site have nothing to worry about Winky Winky

... its not a matter of fact or fiction, its true but its not as bad as the politicians make it out to be. Each planet has greenhouse gases, ours just so happens to have a plethora of different ones. Our #1 greenhouse gas is water vapor, then carbon dioxide, but since we have increased our carbon dioxide output greatly since the beginning of the industrial revolution we have been increasing our greenhouse gases which allows for more of the suns rays to be kept inside the earth after passing through them. This ultimately increases the temperature of our planet, not by much at all but it does. The politicians try and get us to believe that the ice caps will melt in no time, but the truth is, it wont be in our lifetime, or our kids lifetime, maybe not even in their kids lifetime. But over the course of 2-3 centuries the ice caps will slowly diminish and the land that is surrounding our oceans will be decreased. Since 60% of earths population lives on the coast, we will be displacing them further in.

its true, just not as true as the politicians make it out to be.

I do believe in it. All the facts are there to prove it. Also a body of water (about the size as Lake Ockechobee) has completely dried up. It is now all completely desert.

Climbing up the ladder
global warming is bs. The earth has gone through numerous climate changes and it is just going through another one now. This is the first one where we have the technology to measure and recognize the changes and people are freaking out.

At least I can fight
Global warming is a ridiculous excuse by scientists to waste money to stop something that isn't even their. My bet is they party everyday with the millions of dollars we give them for funding!

unless you guys know the effects of greenhouse gases and their effect on climate you shouldn't comment on this.

I feel like 90% of the responses in this thread are going to be from ignorant high school, middle school, or non science majored college students trying to sound smart and trying to make it seem like there is another government conspiracy

Crumpets and tea?
Yes, I do. If you are looking at the so-called "average global temperature," then I believe that the earth is currently warming at a rate of about one degree Fahrenheit per century. It is a well-known fact, and one backed by many scientists.

What I don't believe is that humans are the cause of global warming. There is supposed to be a "consensus" of scientists who support the idea, and we are told that the debate of the issue is over, but there are many qualified, expert scientists who do not agree with the theory. (FYI, the media used the "consensus" lie during the 70's, too, saying that "all" of the scientists were telling us that another ice age was looming, and they were wrong, weren't they?)
