What's new for 2011 you ask? Well, let me tell you!
NextGen's Underground is the newest edition to the NGU brand. We're launching a machinima style channel to showcase all of your gaming videos!
Make sure you check out the channel and we'll provide details in the coming weeks on how to submit videos for everyone to enjoy

Edit - We're finalizing the submission guidelines and I'll be looking for some "critics" to help me review videos for upload. Keep in mind with the volume of submissions it may take some time to get to your clip/video. Don't be discouraged. I sorta have a life too. Well, that last point is actually debatable.

There are tons of things to move NGU forward. I agree that it would be nice to have Outsider back full time and rocking it. In the meantime think about what you can do to contribute to NGU in a positive manner instead of just complaining about what isn't. :y:

Like I said, good luck. If we only looked at the positives then there'd be a lot of time wasted due to failed websites. To get a slice of what Machinima gets alot of time and money would have to go into SEO, Custom Scripts, Layouts etc. Machinima have over 60,000 videos uploaded to youtube. Most people here wouldn't be able to download videos and upload to the NGU youtube channel on a consistent basis, so then you have to look at buying a VPS to, somewhere near the youtube servers and a selected filehost. I'd imagine USA would be a good place. Then you'd have to ask someone to make a script which would download from the filehost, log into youtube and upload to the channel at good speeds.
That's only 1 of the loads of things you have to think about.

Can't a fellow man do something cool once in a while? He made this so that we could have more fun and something to do, not to have someone tell him all the stuff he needed to do if he wanted to get as big as Machinima. This is a small community thing right now, it's not going to start off as a big ****ing success with us having everything we need.

You bring up great points. I'm not saying The Underground will become Machinima. If it it does, it will certainly NOT happen overnight. NGU has a great community base and we need to have an outlet to display the talent that our community has to offer.
The failure of the NGU channels in the past was a lack of activity. This channel will be active. Even if its only me supplying it with videos. :biggrin:
Hopefully we can bring on some NGU directors to upload directly. This idea/concept is simple: Entertainment & community. :y:
